Книга представляет собой сборник устных тем для развития монологической и диалогической речи на английском языке в 5-7 классах, соответствующих программе средней общеобразовательной школы. Кроме того, в пособие включены небольшие сказки и стихи, которые можно использовать в качестве дополнительного материала.

EVERY DAY.
Every day Lucy gets up at seven o’clock. She washes her face and hands. She brushes her hair. She has breakfast at 7.30. Then she cleans her teeth and puts on her school clothes. She picks up her books. She kisses her mother and leaves the house at 8 o’clock. Sometimes she goes to school by bike, but often by bus. English and Music are her favourite subjects at school.

Lucy comes home at 2 o’clock. She has dinner at 2.30. After dinner she does her homework. It takes her about an hour and a half. Then she often plays in the garden with her brother.
In the evening Lucy likes listening to music or watching TV at home. Sometimes she goes dancing with her friends. Sometimes she plays chess or cards with her brother. She also likes reading detective stories and playing computer games. Her favourite TV programme is “Tom and Jerry”. She goes to bed at 10.30.

THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE

I’d like to give a talk about the place where I live. It is really important for me.

To begin with, my city is famous for its short but glorious history. The first plant for building submarines was built here.

As for me the lovely city park, it is my favourite place. I like it so much because it is a quiet place. You can have a rest after a long day at school in it.

Speaking about the time when I leave school, I think that I am likely to go to Moscow to continue studying. There are many universities and also good opportunities for career growth in the capital.

All in all, I firmly believe that Severodvinsk makes my life more interesting and every time I have a chance I will return here to see my relatives and my friends. In conclusion, I would like to say that every person should love their native place and try to make it more beautiful. Thank you for listening.

LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

I’d like to give a talk about foreign languages. I think it is impossible to imagine our life without knowing at least one foreign language.

People learn foreign languages for many reasons. The most important one is communication. Nowadays more and more people travel abroad. The knowledge of a foreign language helps them communicate.

As for me, I have chosen to do the English exam this year because it will be useful for my future career.

Personally, I go for extra English lessons to prepare for my English exam. I sometimes read books or just listen to the songs in English.

All in all, I firmly believe that foreign languages make our life more interesting.

I’d like to give a talk about pets. I think pets make our life more interesting.

To begin with, almost every family has a pet nowadays. Speaking about the reasons, I believe that most people keep animals because they make their lives happier. Also, parents usually buy a pet for their children because they want them to become more responsible.

In my opinion, cats, dogs and parrots are the most popular pets in big cities. They are widespread because all of them can easily live within the apartment.

But it is important for all owners to keep in mind that having an animal is a big responsibility because life of the creature depends on them. They should always remember to feed, walk if necessary and play with a pet.

All in all, I firmly believe that pets make our life more interesting and whenever I have a chance I spend time with my dog. That’s all I wanted to say about pets. Thank you for listening.

To begin with, the Internet is the newest kind of mass media. It has become the most popular source of information and entertainment. If you have the Internet access you may find useful information, watch films or just communicate with people all over the world.

Long distance communication has become easier nowadays thanks to the e – mail.

Surely, there are also disadvantages of the Internet. Sometimes the information from it is not very reliable. It may be harmful for you.

All in all, I firmly believe that the Internet makes our life more interesting and exciting. Every time I have a chance I try to browse the Internet and to search for something interesting. That’s all I wanted to say about the internet. Thank you for listening.

I’d like to give a talk about the Internet. I think it’s impossible to imagine our life without the Internet nowadays.

To begin with, it serves to inform people of different events, to educate, entertain, and give us any kind of information. Complete and accurate information is very important to get nowadays. So the Internet has become so popular, widespread and the majority of people daily use it.

From my point of view, the Internet can help students in their studies. They can find the book they need without leaving home. So, they don’t need to waste their time going to the library.

But there are some dangers as well. For example, some people get addicted to the Internet and spend all time there.

HOLIDAYS

I’d like to give a talk about holidays. I think it’s impossible to imagine our life without holidays.

To begin with, Russia is famous for its glorious holidays all over the world. We celebrate such public holidays as New Year, Victory Day, Easter and many others.

My favourite public holiday is New Year. I like it because all family celebrates that holiday together at home. New Year is celebrated at night on the 31st of December. After the speech of the President of the Russian Federation most families spend a night walking in the streets or sitting at home.

As for me, I prefer to give presents. Doing it you remember about all the members of your family and try to make them happier

All in all, I firmly believe that holidays make our life more interesting and every time I have a chance I try to spend time with my relatives and my friends on holidays and of course to give them presents.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN RUSSIA

I’d like to give a talk about public holidays in Russia. I think it’s impossible to imagine our life without holidays.

To begin with, state or public holidays in Russia include Constitution Day, New Year’s Day, the International Women’s Day, May Day, Victory Day and Independence Day.

As for me, I like New Year most of all because all the family celebrates that holiday together at home. It’s a great opportunity to get closer to each other.

From my point of view, people usually give presents and wish Happy New Year to each other.

Some of them like celebrating this holiday at their friends’ houses or attend fireworks displays in the city. Celebrations for children include a decorated fir tree and Grandfather Frost. He often comes with his granddaughter Snegurochka.

To begin with, most people enjoy travelling because it gives them an opportunity to meet new people and find out interesting historical facts.

From my point of view, the choice of the best season for travelling depends on your likes. For example, if you like going to the seaside you should do it in summer and if you want to go skiing it’s better to do it in winter.

As for me, the ship is the best means of transport because it’s very comfortable. Modern ships have got everything on board to make people feel at home.

All in all, I firmly believe that travelling makes our life more interesting. Every time I have a chance I use the opportunity to travel somewhere. That’s all I wanted to say about travelling.

To begin with, most modern teenagers don’t read at all. It seems to me, that the main reason for it is a wide choice of social networks and computer games.

As for me, I like reading science fiction books most of all because they have an unpredictable plot and contain thousands of facts about nature.

From my point of view, many people prefer e – books to paper ones because an electronic book is much more convenient than a traditional paper book. It’s easy to use because it is a small device but it contains lots of texts.

TELEVISION

I’d like to give a talk about television. I think it’s impossible to imagine our life without books nowadays.

To begin with, television plays a big role in our society. A lot of people, and teenagers is not an exception, prefer watching television to reading. It is more comfortable just to watch instead of sitting with the book

As for me, I usually watch TV about seven hours a week. Unfortunately, I don’t have a chance to spend in front of the TV – set more than one hour a day. I have to do my homework and go to extra lessons.

From my point of view, one of the disadvantages of the television is too much information which is not always very reliable.

All in all, I firmly believe that television makes our life more interesting. Every time a have a chance I try to watch some useful TV programmes. That’s all I wanted to say. Thank you for listening.

MY FREE TIME

I’d like to give a talk about my free time. I think it’s impossible to imagine our life without having some time for relaxation.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much free time. One of the main reasons for this lack is the fact that I study six days a week. So, I have only one day off.

When I have free time I enjoy … .

As for my Sunday afternoons, I spend this time doing my homework for Monday. Sometimes I manage to watch TV, to play computer games or just to listen to music and simply relax. From time to time when the weather is fine I go for a walk.

To begin with, in every season there are bright and dark sides. But we must be thankful together whatever the weather.

From my point of view, the Earth’s climate has recently changed very much. Winters have become quite warm and snowless and spring comes late enough.

As for the weather forecast, I don’t always trust it because the weather can be very changeable and unpredictable. When you want to enjoy sunny weather and blue sky there are clouds everywhere.

All in all, I firmly believe that the weather can easily change our plans, but everyone hopes the weather will be fine.

I must confess that every season is beautiful and attractive in its own way. And as one of the famous poets says, “I see no reason to speak in prize of any season”.

I’d like to give a talk about keeping fit. I think it is a very important issue nowadays.

To begin with, the polluted and unhealthy world of today makes people realize the importance of keeping fit.

As for me, I do sport regularly. I go to the swimming pool twice a week. This helps me feel fit and healthy.

From my point of view, most of teenagers prefer running or cycling. They often do it to keep fit.

All in all, I firmly believe that keeping fit makes our life more interesting. Every time I have a chance I go to the gym or to the swimming pool. That’s all I wanted to say about keeping fit.

I’d like to give a talk about my school homework. I think it is impossible to imagine learning at school without it.

Я знаю, что русскоговорящих школьников безумно пугает сдача устных экзаменов. А устная часть ОГЭ по английскому языку кажется совершенно невыполнимой (не говоря уже о ). Но поверьте мне, правильная и своевременная подготовка - все что нужно, чтобы высший балл на тесте вам был беспечен. Поэтому сегодня нас ждет полный разбор устной части, а также примеры заданий с ответами.

Устная часть тестирования на занимает всего 6 минут! Но за 6 минут вы должны показать все, на что способны. Вас проверят на все: на произношение и скорость речи, на способность понимать вопросы и давать быстрый и четкий ответ на них, на ваше умение вести неподготовленную речь на протяжении 2 минут.

С 2016 года структура устной части в корне изменилась. Вам придется справляться не с двумя, а с целыми тремя заданиями: нужно будет прочитать текст вслух, ответить на вопросы диалога, а также сделать монолог на основе картинки (а, возможно, и без нее в этом году!). Кажется, все совершенно отличается от того, что было всего 3-4 года назад.

Устная часть состоит, как я уже говорила, из 3 частей, которые суммарно по времени занимают 15 минут, из которых 6 минут идут непосредственно на ответ, а остальное - на подготовку.

• Часть 1 - чтение отрывка текста.

Задание кажется несложным, правда? Особенно, если учесть, что предварительно вам дается 1,5 минуты на прочтение. А после этого - еще 2 минуты на прочтение вслух. Читать вы должны четко, понятно, с корректным произношением звуков и правильными интонациями. И у вас есть всего 5 шансов на ошибку. После этого - баллы снижают (то есть вы получите 1 или 0 баллов из 2 возможных !).

Давайте разберем пример (щелкните мышкой по картинке для увеличения).

В первую очередь, обратите внимание на чтение долгих и коротких звуков. Красным цветом я подчеркнула слова с долгим и коротким [i].

di fferent, li ved, hi dden, — здесь ударные звуки читаются как короткие

peo ple, belie ved, nee ded, — а здесь они читаются как долгие

Синим цветом я подчеркнула слова, в которых есть короткий и долгий [u]

roo m, too ls — здесь звук долгий

coul d, pu t — здесь он короткий

Зеленым цветом я выделила слова, где можно заметить звук [a], но опять же по долготе они будут отличаться:

dar k — долгий звук

hu nters — короткий звук

Очень важным моментом здесь является правильное произношение межзубных звуков (слова в тексте подчеркнуты желтым ), которые дети так часто любят заменять русскими [в, ф] или .

В желтые рамки я поместила фразы на которых хочу показать различия в интонациях. В первом случае мы видим специальный вопрос — а в таких типах вопросов интонация должна быть нисходящей, другими словами, она должна падать. Послушайте

Вторая фраза — вводная конструкция, которую, во-первых, необходимо отделить от остальной части предложения паузой, а во-вторых, прочитать с восходящей интонацией. Послушайте.

Надеюсь, вы услышали разницу! Соблюдайте , дорогие мои, и оценивающие ваш ответ с большим удовольствием поставят вам высший балл!

• Часть 2 - ответы на вопросы.

Задание этой части - диалог, где вам придется ответить на 6 вопросов . Эта часть теста создана для того, чтобы проверить, насколько быстро, правильно и грамотно студент может использовать иностранную речь.

За каждый ответ на вопрос вы можете получить по 1 баллу . Если же вы отвечаете слишком коротко там, где требуются раскрытые ответы, или делаете много ошибок - вы не получаете свой балл за ответ.

Что я могу вам посоветовать - так это выучить парочку клише для тех ответов, где потребуется выразить свое мнение или дать совет. Например:

In my opinion … - По моему мнению…

From my point of view… - C моей точки зрения …

I reckon … - Я считаю …

I advise … - Я советую…

You ’ d better do … — Вам лучше сделать…

You should do. ... Вам стоит делать...

Кроме этого, важно — отвечать четко, не уходя в дебри и соблюдать грамматические правила!

Итак, пример задания в формате вопрос-ответ:

How old are you?

— I"m 15 years old.

What"s your hobby and why are you interested in it?

- My hobby is swimming. I"m interested in it because I adore swimming — it makes me cheerful and confident.

How much time a week do you spend on your hobby?

- As a rule, I spend on it about 4 hours a week.

What hobbies are the most popular with teenagers nowadays?

- From my point of view the most popular hobbies with teenagers now are computer games and some extreme sports like snowboarding.

Why do you think people take up hobbies?

- In my opinion people take up hobbies in order to find new friends, to get some new skills and just to feel happier.

What would you advise a person who wants to start a hobby?

— You should find a hobby which will give you pleasure. If I were you I would go to the nearest sports club and find out what they offer...

• Часть 3 - монолог на основе картинки.

На подготовку этого задания вам дадут 1,5 минуты, а на выполнение - 2 минуты. Перед глазами у вас будет картинка (но она нужна лишь для опоры, а не для описания! ), и вопросы, на которые требуется дать ответ. Это задание сложное, скажу честно, но и оценивается оно в целых 7 баллов.

Примечание: в 2018 году картинку планируется убрать и оставить только вопросы.

Давайте посмотрим пример:

-Why people like travelling.

-What way of travelling you prefer and why.

-Whether you prefer to be a package tourist or to be a backpacking traveler. Why.

Мой ответ был бы следующим:

«And now I am going to talk about travelling.

People may travel for different reasons. For one group of people it may be the chance to spend their vacation at a completely different place from the one they are used to. For others it may be the way of living - their lifestyle.

Personally I prefer sight-seeing type of travelling. As I am keen on history I cannot stand the idea of not visiting all the historical places in Europe or Asia. What is more, I prefer travelling by bus as it allows me to spend a lot of time on the road and think about everything I need. Besides, it is much cheaper than travelling by plane.

According to this I may conclude that I am an absolutely backpacking traveler. The idea that you can spend one day in one city and move to another part of the country the following day appeals to me very much.

In the end I would like to say, that travelling broadens our minds and gives us an amazing experience we will never forget. Besides, you will be left with unforgettable memories. What can be better?»

Задалась я тут вопросом, как примерно должен выглядеть текст устного монологического высказывания из задания №3 в устной части ОГЭ по английскому. Пыталась найти в интернете образцы, но ничего путного не могла найти. В итоге, решила составить сама.

Как вы уже знаете из демоверсии 2016 (скачать , кто ещё её не видел) в задании № 3 необходимо построить законченное связное монологическое высказывание на определённую тему с опорой на план, представленный в виде косвенных вопросов. Время на подготовку – 1,5 минуты.

Итак, монологическое высказывание должно обязательно содержать

1. Вступление (вступительную фразу можно взять из самого задания)
2. По каждому пункту 3 развернутых фразы. Не забываем, что повествование должно быть логично, взаимосвязано; от пункта к пункту переходим при помощи связок.
3. Завершение

Примерно должно получиться 10-12 предложений.

Рассмотрим следующее задание:

Задание: You are going to give a talk about hobby of one of your parents, relatives or a person you know. You will have to start in 1,5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes.
Remember to say:
what this hobby is
whether this hobby is popular with people in other countries
whether you would like to take up this hobby and why
You have to talk continuously.

I’m going to tell you about a hobby of my dad. A hobby is an activity which you enjoy doing in your free time.
I’m sure, everybody has a hobby. As for my Dad , he’s fond of collecting. He’s been collecting stamps from different countries for thirty years. His collection is rather large.
No doubt , this hobby is popular with people in other countries. Some collectors can boast of having rare or old stamps in their albums. Now many people collect stamps from the postcards they receive doing postcrossing.
In my view , collecting stamps is a great idea. I’m eager to take it up. I think collecting stamps helps to learn more interesting information about different countries.
I hope I’ll be able to realize my dream.
